F.A.T. was founded in 2018 by Fabio Don and Marco Zelli.

In 2019 the platform has been selected as emerging creative by the Future Architecture Platform.

F.A.T. collaborated with the Lisbon Triennale, the S AM  Architecture Museum of Basel, the Mies Van der Rohe Foundation and  the CANactions School of Kyiv.

In 2021 Lorenza Donati, Telmo Escapil-Inchauspé, Alberto Franchini, Michele Porcelluzzi, Johanna Roth and Leonie Wagner joined the platform.
